Often people think that they can’t have a significant enough impact on the environment to bother making any kind of change; that it will take the Government or large corporations to prevent an environmental crisis. Yet many people are on social media, some with a handful of friends and others with thousands or even millions of followers.
Imagine therefore, if you decided to make just one change in your home…..
1. You refill just one bottle rather than buy a new one, you’ve saved 1 new plastic bottle and the environmental cost of recycling your old one
2. You convince a few of your friends to do the same, you’ve saved 4 plastic bottles.
3. In turn, your friends convince a few of their friends, now you’ve saved 10 plastic bottles, etc, etc.
….and it quickly escalates and here's how quickly...

Obviously it doesn’t work exactly like that, not everybody refills their bottle so you’ll lose a few at each level, but we’re only talking about one bottle and one time.
But now imagine, you refill more than one bottle, you do it regularly and perhaps you bring along more than 3 friends…..the numbers are huge and we’re only on the first change!
So take the first step and take a few friends along with you.
