Mealworms

Overview

Insect-eating birds love to take mealworms from your feeder. Many birds will be drawn in by dried mealworms and may become regular visitors to your garden. Alternatively scatter them on the ground as they are also popular with ground-feeding birds such as blackbirds.

Please provide a source of water if feeding dried mealworms to ensure garden birds stay hydrated, alternatively soak the dried mealworms overnight and then feed to the birds.
